1. Starter N and P Effects on Early Maturing Corn Planted Early

Short-season corn planted early is a water-use management option being investigated in the central plains states. This study was conducted in an attempt to determine optimum starter N and P fertilizer rates and to compare subsurface banded versus surface applications of P for short-season corn planted early.
